The Concrete Chamber of Commerce met on February 9, 2023. Discussions centered around Mardi Gras in Concrete, coming February 18, with a parade and party in Town Center starting at 3:00 p.m. We talked about who was chosen as this year’s Royalty, the need for a pancake party in keeping with the Shrove tradition, and the other activities that will be part of the merriment: The Baker Street Bake Sale offered by the Concrete Heritage Museum, the Book Sale being sponsored by the Upper Skagit Library, and other people who are working hard on their parade entries.
