Annual Celebration, Concrete Style
Get ready for another fun-filled Concrete, Washington Mardi Gras. We love any excuse to gather, dance in the street, and laugh with friends and neighbors. This may be the only Mardi Gras around that’s family friendly, free to attend, and not centered on alcohol. Everyone is welcome to join the parade or cheer from the sidewalk.
2026 Highlights: This year’s Mardi Gras in Concrete brings a few extra reasons to celebrate. The parade will be led by Mardi Gras Queen Vanessa Throssel of Marblemount, followed by live music from the Analog Brass Band in Town Center. We’re also excited to welcome back longtime community favorites Jeri and Jerry Kaufman, returning to dance in the streets for the first time in many years.
Join Us! Saturday, February 14, 2026 | Parade starts at 3:00 p.m.
The Parade
The parade begins at 3:00 p.m., and everyone is welcome to participate. There is no cost to enter. Entrants should check in near the Concrete Post Office on Main Street beginning at 2:00 p.m. For questions or additional details, please contact the Chamber office at chamber@concrete-wa.com.
Participants are encouraged to dress in the official Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold and embrace the fun, informal spirit of the event.
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Mardi Gras Queen is Vanessa Throssel of Marblemount. A longtime and enthusiastic participant, Vanessa will lead the parade through Town Center.
After the parade, Town Center is the place to be for food, music, and celebrating with friends and neighbors. The Hub Tavern and Act One Ice Cream Parlor will be open before, during, and after the festivities.
This event receives funding from Skagit County. www.visitskagitvalley.com
