October brings frightful fun to Concrete. Travel back in time to the early 1900s, when Concrete was a lawless village of miners, loggers, mill hands, and cement plant workers, as you experience the 21st edition of the infamous Concrete Ghost Walk on four Saturdays in October.
Other special events include a Zombie Fashion Runway on October 22 at the Concrete Theatre at 6:00 pm, and a screening of the cult classic House on Haunted Hill (1959) on October 16 at 5:00 p.m. Lots of other activities – see below!
October Events in Concrete, WA:
20th Annual: Where the Past Whispers Its Secrets Tickets Required!
Saturday evenings in October, Concrete, WA comes alive with history, mystery, humor and the supernatural. This guided tour blends spine-tingling ghost stories with the true tales of our town’s past—all set against the backdrop of our historic Town Center.
The journey begins at the 103-year-old Concrete Theatre, then winds through dimly lit streets where miners, loggers, and mill hands once lived in a rough-and-tumble village. You’ll hear stories of love and loss, notorious scandals, and even ghostly visitations. Did you know that back in the early 1900s, Concrete boasted more brothels than churches?
At each stop, local legends spring to life through reenactments and tales told by both the living—and those who may never have left.
This isn’t just a walk; it’s an immersive experience. As you cross uneven ground and slip into dark alleys, keep your senses sharp. You never know what might be waiting in the shadows…
The Phantom of the Opera
The Original 1925 Silent Film, The Phantom of the Opera, will be shown at the Concrete Theatre in Town Center, Friday, October 10 – 7 p.m. Cost is $16. Tickets, more info, and FAQs available at: www.concrete-theatre.com/phantom.
Zombie Fashion Show
Scream for your favorite at this FREE October 17th event!

Halloween Trunk-or-Treat 2025
Join us on Halloween, October 31, from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at this FREE event in Bear Square where costumed volunteers will be on hand with their decorated vehicles. Businesses on Main Street will welcome trick-or-treaters, too. Free, safe fun for the family!
Haunted House
- October 18th, 24th, 25th and 31st
- From 7:00 – 10:00 P.M.
Experience frightful fun at this seasonal haunted house attraction located at 44872 N Cascade Highway (SR 20).
It features themed rooms, actors, and jump scares in a “haunted barn/warehouse” style setup.
