North Cascades Institute provides an excellent nature facility which includes recreation, lodging and dining for it's guests through a variety of different educational and camp opportunities:
Base Camp: Stay at the Environmental Learning Center on your own schedule and enjoy self-guided outdoor learning adventures, comfortable accommodations and delicious, organic meals.
Family Getaways: Make plans to join us with your family each summer for multi-generational learning fun and great accommodations at our campus on Diablo Lake.
Learning Center and Field Classes: Featuring one-day natural history excursions and watch-when-you-want Zoom presentations on geology, owls, watercolors and other topics.
Skagit Tours: Hop aboard the Alice Ross IV and enjoy views of snow-clad mountain peaks, islands and waterfalls while hearing stories about the people who have lived and worked in these mountains.
Wilderness Medical Courses: Medical skills for individuals working or playing in a remote or wilderness settings.
Special Events: Join us for an author reading, art exhibit, natural history presentation or our annual Harvest Dinner to deepen your connection to our special place.
